CVA Blyth Valley – Farewell to staff

Due to the continuing financial constraints which CVABV and all infrastructure support services are currently facing, the management board have decided to reduce staffing capacity as from 31st March 2017.

As a result of this decision CVABV will be saying goodbye to both Jill Oxnard and Gina Robson, both of whom have been with the organisation for over 10 years.

Jill joined CVABV from Blyth Valley Community Matters as CVABV was being formed and had previously worked for Blyth Valley Borough Council.

Jill’s knowledge and skills in working with Community Centres and Associations, volunteers and early years groups has contributed greatly to the work of CVABV during her time with us.

Gina came to CVABV to deliver the Fair Share capacity building programme in Seaton Valley.

This programme of work was acclaimed nationally as a model of good practice when working with local community groups.

Both Jill & Gina have grown and developed their skills and competences during their time with CVABV, with local community groups benefitting from their learning.

They will both be greatly missed from the CVABV team and we wish them every success for the future.
