Room for Hire
We have a small office for hire in our premises in Beaconsfield Street, Blyth

The hire of the room includes heating, lighting and electricity.  Tenants would also have full use of our kitchen facilities, disabled access toilets and communal areas.

CVA Blyth Valley - Training

FREE Accredited Training for Newsham Residents
Through a grant from the People’s Health Trust awarded to Newsham & New Delaval Residents Association, CVABV are able to offer FREE training in the following topics:

Emergency First Aid in the Workplace Level 2

Both courses will be held at:  Newsham Pavilion, Miners Welfare Park, Beatrice Avenue, Newsham, NE24 4BP.  Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.

WATBusSunday 28th May, 9am at Cobalt, ride out to Kirkley Cycles via Stannington and Saltwick for a cuppa and a slice, then back to Cobalt via Ponteland and Kingston Park, 40 miles.

June ride list is now available on our website. It’s a mixed bag as we have a lot of other commitments during the month - it's always very busy time of the year.

Free guided bike rides for the more "mature" cyclists. We are running  a series of 3 fully supported guided rides on three Wednesday's from 31st May, includes free bike hire, refreshments, bike repair demo, and a goodie bag. Starting at the WATBike centre in Ashington. If you are interested let me know for more details. This is part of the national campaign Big Bike Revival. Sherburn House Fund

Sherburn House CharityCommunity Grants Programme
The Sherburn House Community Grants Programme aims to support voluntary and community groups and organisations, including small local groups from ‘the ancient Diocese of Durham”, that is anywhere in the North East of England between the Rivers Tweed and Tees.

The Programme provides grants to £5,000 to support charities, voluntary-led organisations and projects that have an incredible impact in their community, enabling them to continue their work and make vital improvements to their service.

Please note this fund will open on Thursday 1st June 2017.

The Fund aims to support projects which address poverty-related issues in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

High Sheriff of Northumberland Awards Scheme
The Fund makes awards in recognition of groups in the community who encourage useful and beneficial pursuits for young people, supporting them to be upstanding citizens in their transition to adulthood.

Youth projects based in and working in Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and County Durham, including Darlington.

CVA Blyth Valley has a downstairs small meeting / training room for hire.  The room is fully accessible, holds 8 people comfortably around a boardroom–style table, and includes the use of a whiteboard, projector, screen, OHP and Wi-Fi availability.

Cost is £5 per hour  /  £15 per half day  /  £25 full day (refreshments will be extra)
