Community Food and Friendship Blyth
- We need volunteers for our new mum and dad breakfast, Monday mornings 8am-noon, training given, no experience necessary.
- Volunteers to lead a knitting group and a craft group on Tuesdays.
- Also we now have a men’s walking group on a Friday morning at 10am finishing with a cuppa.

GFS Blyth (for girls, for friendship, for society)

Isabella Heap Volunteering Group
They aim to provide a safe place for people to walk, run, cycle, explore nature or walk their dogs. To do this they work in partnership with Northumberland Town Council, Blyth Town Council, Police, Fire service, Blyth Rotary Club, ERIC and local Councillors.
The activities they carry out include,
● Litter picking. ● Planting trees and wildflowers. ● Thinning out small trees and cutting bushes back (winter). ● Record wildlife, trees and flowers. ● Created a small allotment area. ● Put down wood chips on the muddy footpaths. ● Arrange small fun activities for young people. ● Find a bear trail, Enchantment trail hunt. ● Painted rock designing and hunting. ● Winter Bird Feeding. ● Cutting back overgrown grass from footpaths
They are a small group of young people and adults and welcome anyone with the same vision who would like to volunteer with them.

BVDF are seeking volunteers who can use their experiences to support people who want to be more physically and socially active, and to be part of the local community. To support their clients in various groups and activities from swimming, cinema, canoeing, crafts and more…. MS Society – Activities Organiser (South Northumberland)
Approx 2 hours per week
As their local group Activities Organiser you’ll play a crucial role in developing and planning activities and events with your local group. You’ll be responsible for creating and coordinating an annual calendar of events and making sure they’re run safely and effectively to make the most impact.
